Welcome to Kepware's Quarterly Newsletter, "The Kepware Connection". We are pleased to announce our second release of KEPServer 5 product, version 5.1, delivering some strategic new features, a few new drivers, and lots of enhancements. We've had extremely good feedback thus far with regards to the new server and the new licensing options, the Manufacturing Suite in particular. With this release, we have 3 new drivers including the Custom Interface Driver and enhancements to 18 others. We have also delivered an updated ClientAce Toolkit for developing OPC Client applications, featuring Visual Studio 2008 support.

New Driver - AutomationDirect Productivity 3000 Ethernet [Oct, 2009]
Working directly with AutomationDirect we developed a driver for their new Productivity 300 Ethernet Controller. New Driver - Mettler Toledo Continuous Mode Serial
Our new Mettler Toledo Continuous Mode driver was developed for use with our industry leading OPC Server, KEPServerEX. Alarms & Events (Events only)
We are introducing Alarms and Events to KEPServerEX in phases by first making the KEPServerEX event log data available to A&E clients. The Event server works in runtime and service modes supporting 3 Event categories (Information, Warning, Error). KEPServerEX also supports A&E client filtering by event type, severity, and category, and is OPC Compliant. The second phase will include Alarms and a new A&E GUI for easy configuration. -- Read more >> 
Updated ClientAce OPC .NET Toolkit
Our NEW ClientAce OPC Client Development Toolkit has just been released. This version supports Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and offers developers the ability to quickly and easily develop OPC Client applications in .NET using Visual Basic and C#. Siemens Leverages Kepware Server Technology
Our partner, Software Toolbox has been selected by Siemens AG to participate in its Premium Add-on Program. The program is designed to expand customer awareness of third-party industrial automation software solutions that can be used to enhance Siemens Simatic WinCC and WinCC flexible products. Online Development Delivers Universal Gateway
Online Development delivers Universal Gateway Based on Kepware Protocols called the cATM. The cATM Universal Gateway is a dedicated appliance transaction module that installs in an Allen-Bradley ControlLogix chassis. It provides controller-to-controller data integration between Rockwell Automation controllers and a wide variety of other controller brands and network protocols. Moxa Enters into a Reseller Agreement with Kepware
Kepware has been selected as a supplier to Moxa, to deliver Kepware's IT and Infrastructure Suite for use with the full line of Moxa Managed and Unmanaged Ethernet products. Arizona State University Gets Greener through Visibility
