Kepware Expands Operations in Portland, Maine Kepware Technologies' new 20,000 sq/ft facility is in full operation
RELEASE: Portland, ME, May 24, 2011 — Kepware has doubled operations in Portland, Maine with a newly renovated 20,000 sq/ft facility. Located in the heart of downtown Portland, the facility is now home to almost 60 employees and allows for the growth of up to 100 employees.
"Since our start in 1995, Kepware has had continued growth in its product offerings, partners, and customers, " said Tony Paine, President of Kepware Technologies. "With this growing success, we need to ensure that we continue to provide the service and quality that people have come to expect from our organization. Kepware worked with existing employees to gather feedback throughout the planning and design process in order to produce a bright and functional facility that promoted productivity and happiness. "With employee ideas in hand, the design team researched some of the most innovative software company office designs to integrate features that would create a collaborative, fun, and productive space for Kepware," commented Brett Austin, CFO of Kepware Technologies. The construction spanned two floors and occurred in two stages in order to minimize disruptions to the company's day-to-day operations.
