Kepware Releases New OPC Client Toolkit

ClientAce™ OPC Client Toolkit Now Supports Microsoft Visual Studio 2008
RELEASE: Portland, ME October 14, 2009 — Kepware Technologies, the leader in Communications for Automation, announced today that it has released version 3.5 of its ClientAce OPC Client Development Toolkit for Microsoft Visual Studio 2008.

ClientAce includes a set of .NET components enabling the quick and easy development of OPC-DA Client applications. The components include a Server Browser, Item Browser, Channel Settings, Server State and Data Access controls. While these controls will work with any third party OPC-DA server, there are added information benefits when used with Kepware's KEPServerEX or KEPServer based branded solutions. This new version adds support for Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and enables client application development in the C# and VB.NET programming languages. The toolkit requires developer licensing, however runtime deployments are free.
