Portland, Maine; Kepware Technologies announces the addition
of two
new drivers to their industry leading OPC server package
KEPServerEX. The new drivers, the Yokogawa MW100 and the
Cutler Hammer ELC driver, were developed for both companies
whom have been long time partners of Kepware Technologies.
The Yokogawa MW100 driver adds full OPC data access capabilities
to this newest member of Yokogawa's data acquisition
line. Utilizing Kepware's automatic tag generation
functions, the new driver eliminates the need to configure
OPC tags within the server by automatically determining the
correct tags based on the configuration of the attached MW100
systems. "The automatic tag generation system allows
Yokogawa customers to get the most from the OPC server, by
automatically placing all key data items and parameters into
a well structured tag database. End users can get the maximum
benefit of their OPC solutions with point and click accessibility
which saves considerable time." Says Kepware president,

The Cutler Hammer ELC is the newest addition to Cutler Hammer's
Logic Controller lineup. The ELC driver for KEPServerEX provides
complete system access to all ELC I/O and register space. "While
the ELC uses standard Modbus RTU or ASCII as its communications
protocol, the memory layout of the ELC is unique. The ELC
driver allows users to access the device in the memory formats
used by the ELC programming package and eliminates error
prone mapping between standard Modbus address and true ELC
addressing. Making OPC easier to use is a key element in
