Kepware Policy on Past Versions and Legacy Software Purchases

Kepware works hard to make sure there are seamless migration paths from one version to another of Kepware products. In most cases, these migrations are completely automatic and are performed in the background. Please see release notes and product documentation for details. Based on the level of effort Kepware puts into seamless migrations and quality control, we strongly encourage our customers to use our latest versions in order to receive the best support and products Kepware has to offer.

• KEPServer Version 3 Products - Are no longer available for purchase and are no longer supported.
  
  
• KEPServerEX Version 4 Products - Are available for purchase from Kepware at the price of 65% above the standard list price. Support agreements are sold separately.
  
  
• KEPServerEX Version 4x License Unlock Policy - Additional unlocks for legacy 4x drivers will require a support agreement if the license has been unlocked in the past.
  
  
• KEPServerEX Version 5.x is our current product. When a new release of Version 5 is available, it immediately replaces the previous version. Previous releases of Version 5 products are not available for purchase.
  
  
• The iSNMP OPC server product which was originally produced by COI Software has reached its End of Life. Therefore, Kepware can no longer provide technical support or license unlocks for COI software products. Kepware has replaced the COI product with a new and greatly enhanced and much more reliable SNMP OPC server product for industrial users. Additionally, Kepware provides an SNMP Project Conversion Utility to make it very easy for users of the legacy COI product to migrate to the KEPServerEX/iSNMP solution.
  
  
• LinkMaster, RedundancyMaster, DX Link and ClientAce are available in their current versions only. Previous versions are not available for these products.
