Overview
OverviewKepware is now offering the NetLink Ethernet Converter Cable for use with Siemens S7 300 and 400 PLCs. NetLink offers an alternative to the CP communication processor. With NetLink you can communicate to your PLC by linking via a switch, Ethernet hub, or directly to the PC using a single network card. NetLink interfaces the PLC via the PROFIBUS interface using Siemens 'MPI' Protocol.
The NetLink cable can be used in conjunction with Kepware's Siemens S7 200/300/400 TCP/IP Ethernet OPC Server (KEPServerEX) and the NetLink Configuration Utility supplied with the Siemens OPC Server.
Length of entire cable/adapter is 10 feet.
Note: Kepware supports the NetLink Adapter Cable exclusively with the use of Kepware's OPC Server, KEPServerEX and their Siemens S7 200/300/400 Ethernet OPC Server.
