Kepware offers monthly training classes, hosted at our headquarters in Portland, Maine. This 2-day course provides seating for up to 10 attendees. Course dates and details are available below.
Customers can also schedule on-site customized classes at their facility with the Kepware training staff, or attend "on-the-road" training at special events throughout the United States, and internationally in regions such as Asia and Europe.

Description: This is a 2-day course providing an introduction to Kepware Technologies' OPC-enabled products, such as KEPServerEX, LinkMaster, and RedundancyMaster. Included is an overview of OPC concepts. The architecture of KEPServerEX, with regards to OPC communication as well as other clients and drivers, will be thoroughly explored. Other topic areas include:
- Optimization of server communication.
- Diagnostic tools for debugging.
- Server plug-ins such as Advanced Tags, Media Level Redundancy, and OPC UA Tunneling.

Course Name: Hands-On U-CON Training (PDF)Description: A brief overview of OPC client/server principles followed by an in-depth discussion of device communications for serial and Ethernet connections. The course will provide a working knowledge of creating communication transactions with U-CON's Transaction Editor interface. Our experienced trainers will provide practical hands-on examples using real devices such as: barcode scanners, controllers, I/O, RFID readers, weigh scale terminals, and a variety of sensor hardware.
