Communicating to Modbus Plus Networks with Hilscher CIF Modbus Plus Cards

Last Update: 11/12/2018

Users cannot communicate to devices on a Modbus Plus network when using KEPServerEX's Modbus Plus Driver with a Hilscher CIF Modbus Plus interface card.

Ensure that the Hilscher CIF Modbus Plus interface card is assigned a unique Modbus Plus Node Address.

On Hilscher cards, the default Node Address setting is 16. Because there cannot be duplicate node addresses on the Modbus Plus network, users must ensure that a unique address is set for each node.
