Connecting to an Ethernet-enabled Omni Flow Meter

Last Update: 11/7/2018

Prior to KEPServerEX V4.200.353, there was no support for Ethernet-enabled Omni devices. That server version included a new setting for the Modbus RTU Serial driver called Use Modbus TCP Headers. When Ethernet Encapsulation is enabled, this setting allows the serial driver to use a standard Modbus Ethernet header to communicate to the Omni device. This allows users to connect to the Omni Flow meter using the Omni Flow model with Modbus Ethernet Headers and Footers.

Note: In KEPServerEX V5.9.170, the OMNI Flow Computer driver was added to specifically support Omni Flow Meters and EFM data collection.
