Controlling a Modem from a Client Application

Last Update: 11/12/2018

When a KEPServerEX project is configured to use a modem, tags will automatically be created beneath the channel in a folder named "_Modem". These tags specify the phone number, dial the number, and then hang up the line once the transaction is complete. Any client may connect to these tags and read or write them as needed.

Note: For a list and description of the tags, refer to the KEPServerEX V5 product manual.
