The ClientAce DA Junction allows users to connect to a server and read/write data without writing any OPC-related code. The DA Junction supports both OPC DA and OPC UA connectivity. Users should check the server manufacturer's documentation for both the DCOM configuration requirements for OPC DA connections and for the OPC UA Endpoint Security requirements. 

Note: OPC connectivity in Visual Basic .NET or C# requires an intermediate-level or higher understanding of programming in that language.
