Received Error Message Failed to locate PKTXChannel 1 of card PKTX0

Last Update: 11/12/2018

Kepware's Allen Bradley DH+ Driver failed to communicate to the target device, and posted the error message "Failed to locate PKTXChannel 1 of card PKTX0" to KEPServerEX's Event Log.

Possible Cause:
This problem can occur for several reasons.

1. Ensure that RSLinx is not installed.

2. Ensure that the instructions for installing the low-level driver required for the DH+ cards have been followed correctly. These instructions are located in the Allen-Bradley DH+ Driver help file's "Channel Setup" topic. To access the help file through the server, click Help | Driver Help... and then select Allen-Bradley DH+.

3. If using KEPServerEX version v4.180.338 or earlier, ensure that there has been a full installation of all drivers. Alternatively, upgrade to the latest server version. Doing so will remedy the installation issue that was corrected in KEPServerEX version 4.190.341.

4. If the solutions described above do not work, move the PKTX or PKTX-D card to a different PCI slot.
