Received TAPI line initialization failed Error When No Modems Are Being Used

Last Update: 11/12/2018

The server displays the TAPI line initialization error, and a client trying to connect to the server may receive the error code 0x8007042C, which means that the dependency service or group failed to start.

This error is typically seen on embedded processors or PCs with custom operating system load outs. OPC communications are highly dependent on Microsoft technologies used for OLE; some of the components used are loaded with telephony support in the operating system. Users must ensure it is enabled.
