Sending Control Commands to a Yokogawa MW100 Recorder to Start/Stop Recording

Last Update: 11/7/2018

The Yokogawa MW device is a recorder that has the ability to start and stop recording. In order to make KEPServerEX tell the device to start/stop recording, users must add a tag to the device in KEPServerEX. This tag must have an address of "Command" and a data type of String. To check the proper operations of the device, open the OPC Quick Client and then write to the tag using the command "PS 0" to start recording or "PS 1" to stop recording. These commands can be found in the MW100 Communication Command Manual.
