The Signed Executable Is Still in Demo Mode when Deployed to Another PC

Last Update: 11/7/2018

For a ClientAce application to run in release mode, the <YourCustomClientAceApplication>.LIC file is required. This file is located in the project's output build directory (or "bin") created by Visual Studio. When deploying the client application, the *.LIC file must be installed in the same location as the custom client executable. It must also have been generated by the ClientAce signing process for the executable's current build. If an outdated *.LIC file is deployed, the executable will delete the file and run in Demo Mode.
