Unable to Read Using Symbolic Addresses in GE RX3/7i That Are Referencing IO Registers

Last Update: 11/7/2018

As soon as an existing IO or memory location is referenced in the PLC in a Symbolic register, the PLC changes it from a user-defined type to a mapped type. The call to the device for that type is different.

Until a change is made to the driver, users can only map those types to regular memory.
