Using System Tags to Identify Device Error or Disconnect

Last Update: 11/7/2018

A hidden tag group named _System is automatically created for every device added to the server. This group contains device-specific tags that are linked to memory parameters in the server. One of the tags in this group is named _Error, and it is a Boolean tag that indicates how the device is responding to requests. When communication is good, this tag will have a value of 0. When communication fails, it will have a value of 1.
