Yokogawa MX: Toggling Into and Out of Back-Up Mode

Last Update: 11/7/2018

When the Yokogawa MX device powers up, the Back-Up or Save Data mode is turned off by default.

To toggle this mode within KEPServerEX, use the automatic tag database generation feature to create the tag database. This will create a device-level tag named "Backup," which is linked to the function that turns the Back-Up Mode on and off in the PLC. To turn the mode on, write 1 to this tag. To turn the mode off, write 0.
