Unable to Connect FastDDE Client to KEPServerEX V5 When Runtime Is in Service Mode

When unable to connect FastDDE client to KEPServerEX V5, users should enable the "Allow service to interact with desktop" option in the service settings. This allows FastDDE to work when the runtime is in Service Mode. For information on accessing this setting, refer to the instructions below.
- Open the Windows Control Panel and select Administrative Tools | Services.
- Then, double-click the KEPServerEX 5.x service to open its properties.
- Select the Log On tab and enable Allow service to interact with desktop.
Note: These instructions pertain to FastDDE only; SuiteLink works without issue on all supported operating systems. FastDDE is not a supported service on the Windows Vista and Server 2008 operating systems.
