Cannot Connect to the Server from the Client After Switching from Service Mode to Interactive Mode

Problem:
The OPC client can connect to the server when running in Service Mode or Interactive Mode, but will fail to connect when the mode is switched between the two.

Solution:
This issue is caused both by the DCOM configuration and by the actions the server takes when changing its mode of operation. When the server's Runtime operation is changed from Service to Interactive Mode (or vice versa), the server will unregister and then reregister. If DCOM was configured at the application level, all the settings will be lost and must be reset. If DCOM was configured globally and the server is using the default settings, there should be no impact on connectivity.
