How Do the Server's Event Log Filters Work?

Last Update: 11/7/2018

The server's Event Log Filters specify the events that will be displayed in the Configuration Client's Event View but does not stop events from being logged. Selections include All Events, Error Events, Warning Events, and Information Events. Descriptions of the selections are as follows:

  • All Events: When checked, this selection displays all events. This is the default setting.
  • Error Events: When checked, this selection displays Error Events. This selection can be used in conjunction with the other two specific Event View Filters.
  • Warning Events: When checked, this selection displays Warning Events. This selection can be used in conjunction with the other two specific Event View Filters.
  • Information Events: When checked, this selection displays Information Events in the event view. This selection can be used in conjunction with the other two specific Event View Filters.

Note: No events will be displayed in the Event View when the All Events filter and remaining selections are unchecked.
