In DNP3, How Do I Latch a Relay?

Last Update: 11/7/2018

To perform a Latch, write a 0 or 1 to the point's Binary Output .Value or .Explicit tag. Writing a 0 will unlatch the relay; writing a 1 will latch the relay. For more control over latching, refer to DNP3 & the Control Relay Output Block Command.

Note: When writing to the Binary Output .Value or .Explicit tag, the driver will issue a Select then Operate or Direct Operate command.
