The GE iFIX Native Interface Option Cannot be Selected During Installation

Possible Cause:
The KEPServerEX V5 installation checks the Windows Registry for supported versions of iFIX from GE Intelligent Platforms. Because iFIX 5.1 has a unique entry in the registry, the installation assumes that the product is not supported.
Solution:
Upgrade to KEPServerEX version 5.3.156 or greater. If upgrading is not possible due to licensing constraints, add a registry entry for an iFIX version that is supported by KEPServerEX. For more information, refer to the instructions below.
- To start, launch the command prompt and enter "regedit". Then, click OK.
- Add the following key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\GE Fanuc\Proficy HMI SCADA - iFIX 5.0].
- Next, re-install KEPServerEX V5 and select Modify.
- In Select Features, locate the Native Client Interfaces list.
- Select GE iFIX Native Interface, and then finish the install.
