Hardware Key Does Not Work with Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012

Problem:
The Hardware Key provided with the installation does not work on Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012.

Solution:
The Hardware Key requires an additional step after installation in order for the product to work properly. For information on resolving this issue, refer to the instructions below.

  1. Download the new Hardware Key driver at http://static.kepware.com/download/Sentinel_LDK_Run-time_cmd_line.zip. Then, extract the executable.
  2. Next, open the command line and enter <File Path>\haspdinst.exe -install. Use the file path previously specified.
  3. Once finished, restart the server.
