How Do I Access the Media Level Redundancy Plug-In?

Last Update: 11/12/2018
The Media Level Redundancy Plug-In is only available on devices that communicate using serial or Ethernet, or Modbus Plus drivers operating in master mode or communicating using the OPC UA Client Driver. Media Level Redundancy cannot be enabled if a suitable device does not exist for the secondary device. For supported devices, the Media Level Redundancy Plug-In is available through the Redundancy tab in Device Properties dialog box on the primary device. For more information, refer to the Media Level Redundancy product manual.

Note: For a list of drivers that do not support media-level redundancy, refer to Do All Drivers Support Media Level Redundancy?
