Mitsubishi Q-Series Controller Does Not Immediately Reconnect Lost Connections

Last Update: 11/12/2018
To reconnect on a lost connection, the Mitsubishi QJ71E71 Module must be configured to automatically close a connection if communication is lost. Once closed, it will be re-opened as needed for communications with the Mitsubishi Ethernet Driver for KEPServerEX. For more information, see Existence Confirmation Configuration using Fixed Buffer Communications with a QJ71E71-100 Ethernet Module, refer to the "TCP Connection Types" and "Alive Check Function" sections, and follow the steps to enable Existence Confirmation and the Alive Check. Although this Mitsubishi Technical Bulletin references the QJ71E71-100 Ethernet module, it applies to all rack-mounted Ethernet modules (like QJ71E71 and QJ71E71-B2) and to the Q-Series built-in Ethernet port.
