Unable to Access Mapped Network Drives and DSN Configuration in Windows 8+

Problem:
When KEPServerEX is installed on system running Windows 8 or
a higher, not all mapped network drives are available in the open file dialog
when a project file is opened by accessing the server Configuration from the
Admin Panel. When adding a DSN-enabled channel within the Configure DSN dialog,
no error messages are generated when the System DSN tab is accessed. This is
caused by new User Account Control changes in newer versions of Windows. For

Solution:
Access the server Configuration from the Start menu (every
time) and open a project file. Mapped network drives are available and an error
message is generated when accessing the System DSN tab.
