DevOps Coach

Using excellent communication and collaboration skills you will work closely with development teams and leadership to integrate a culture of DevOps into our existing Agile environment.  You will collaborate with engineers and leadership to shape and execute a DevOps vision which integrates people, processes and tools to maximize the organizations effectiveness to build and deliver secure and high-quality software.  As a DevOps practitioner with practical experience, you will be able to articulate the challenges of DevOps and team interactions while offering tested approaches to remedy these challenges.    You will be part of a fast-moving, responsive engineering group using Agile development processes to create world class software products which delight our customers.  Your mission will be to serve our teams and our customers through the protection of our core values in all team interactions, while improving operational flow and removing all impediments that could impact success and continued improvement. Through respect, honesty, humility, open communication, and focus on building a great team environment, you will help to grow collaboration while looking for ways to improve team operations.

Your Day-To-Day:

On a daily basis, you will work with teams to execute their mission to deliver great software in line with business direction, while building the skills and abilities of the team through experimentation, inspection and adaption.  Through servant-leadership, using a data-driven approach, you will help teams gain visibility into their strengths, and provide guidance to help them identify and iteratively work on areas that need improvement.  You will champion DevOps methodologies, coach teams and leadership on DevOps best practices, and help them adapt and modify existing processes to integrate a DevOps mindset into day-to-day operations.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Thought leader and expert on DevOps methods and best use of DevOps tools
  • Ability to gauge team DevOps and Agile maturity and coach the team/organization to transform and grow at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for both.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop a DevOps transformation strategy
  • Lead sessions on evaluating existing DevOps landscape, perform gap analysis, develop strategies and provide recommendations outlining business impact
  • Experience in automating workflow and process flows using CI/CD tools, promoting concepts facilitating infrastructure as code
  • Skilled at communicating with all levels in the organization, including technical engineers and executives
  • Effective at conflict management techniques that facilitate improved team communication
  • Lead root cause analysis efforts, taking actions required for continuous improvement
  • Experience solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges.
  • Servant-leader in one-on-one/team coaching, especially with team members who are new to DevOps, Agile thinking, and SDLC
  • Facilitate getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
  • Increase team efficiency and motivation, encouraging productive changes and experimentation that will ensure quality, timeliness, and improvement.
  • Ability to influence others to adopt a new perspective and handle interpersonal issues with tact and diplomacy.
  • Ability to engage relevant stakeholders across functions to mitigate team impediments

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in implementing DevOps practices/tools in areas such as continuous integration/delivery solutions, platform and release automation, tool selection, metrics tracking
  • Minimum 2 years coaching individuals and teams in Agile best practices preferably in a development or operations role
  • Experience with DevOps tools across development lifecycle (e.g. GitLab, GoCD, Jenkins, AWS, Azure, Docker, Artifactory)
  • Experience in operational areas such as change & release mgmt., infrastructure, security, or hosting
  • Ability to lead instructor training in DevOps practices
  • An understanding of the principles and values underlying Lean and Agile flow. Prior success applying Scrum/Kanban/SAFe/LeSS experience is preferred
Principal Product Marketing Specialist

We are looking for a motivated Principal Product Marketing Specialist to join our team! If you want to create engaging stories about the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and industrial connectivity for developers, tech leaders, and innovators who are out to change the world, we want you! Attention to detail, an eye for quality, and the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into consumable benefits are crucial.  

We are a team of seasoned marketers that are adept at telling compelling stories that engage and excite customers and partners alike. This is a fast-paced market so we are required to be nimble and skilled at multi-tasking to accomplish our goals.  We work cross-functionally across the entire company and are deemed subject matter experts for our respective disciplines. This role will encompass two industry-leading platforms (Kepware for Industrial Connectivity and ThingWorx for Industrial IoT).   

Your Day-to-Day:

In this key role, you will work with Sales, Product Management, Marketing Communications, Demand Generation, and other teams to drive differentiated positioning, messaging and programs for our market-leading technologies.  You will be heavily involved with crafting innovative and compelling deliverables such as messaging, sales materials and thought leadership content to drive and reinforce the value proposition of IoT and industrial connectivity for marketing campaigns, field enablement, and partner support. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Marketing, you will also assist in the design and focus of materials that build mindshare across the buyer’s journey, empower multiple sales teams to sell more, and solidify our position as the leading Industrial IoT and Industrial Connectivity platforms.  

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Create marketing assets such as product sheets, infographics, solution briefs, white papers, user guides, web tutorials, web content, presentations and other collateral content
  • Conduct relevant market and competitive analysis to help in product positioning and differentiation plus conduct prospect and customer research to assist in use case and ROI development
  • Support awareness and educational activities including webinars, events, demand generation, and customer case studies
  • Work closely with sales enablement to develop the content and then train personnel to support the sales process
  • Work with the demand generation and partner marketing teams to ensure content needs are being met for all go-to-market channels
  • Proven success in creation and execution of product marketing strategies and materials for enterprise software is essential
  • Able to communicate persuasively and precisely - excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Self-starter who truly enjoys working in a fast-paced software environment with a drive to take on new challenges
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a dynamic and aggressive high growth environment

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing enterprise software
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a technical discipline; MBA desirable

Travel:

  • This position will require 20% or less travel to industry conferences, customer visits, sales meetings, and other places both U.S. and international
Sales Representative

The Sales Representative is responsible for working with new and existing customers to help diagnose customer needs and recommend the appropriate Kepware products to meet their needs.  Ensuring a high level of customer service, while having a deep understanding of the vertical markets we operate in, in order to identify further opportunities and grow the Kepware business.  

The Sales Representative will be a member of the Kepware Direct Sales team.  They will be working alongside our Partners, Strategic Accounts, Orders Management, Accounts Receivable, Marketing and others to provide a great level of customer service, as well as help the company continue to grow and innovate based on market needs.

Your Day-to-Day:

Daily, you will handle incoming phone/email requests from partners and customers, to help identify appropriate solutions based on unique architectures.  Utilizing CRM to quote, and track opportunities until closing.  The Sales Representative will also work with PM to help determine future enhancements based on customer requests.  As well as work with Marketing to help develop targeted approaches to continually drive new business.  

Skills and knowledge:

  • Continuously maintain a high-level of customer service
  • The ability to identify further opportunity through appropriate inquiry and active listening
  • Needs to be self motivated in order to dive deeper when necessary without the need of direction from higher management

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical or business program, or otherwise equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years experience in sales and/or customer service. (Within the technology industry preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
