Error: 0x8501 (8501) Received from Device

Problem:
The error 0x8501 (8501) was received from the device. This error means "Routing error: Destination node number is not set in the routing table."

Solutions:
1. Users communicating directly to a PLC via Ethernet do not need routing. To adjust the setting, open Device Properties and select the FINS Network Configuration tab. Then, set both Source Network Address and Destination Network Address to 0.
2. Users utilizing a PLC as a gateway to another PLC must configure the gateway PLC to route messages to and from the destination PLC. Using the PLC's Automatic Address Generation option is recommended. Users must also ensure that the server's FINS Network Configuration settings (located in Device Properties) match the PLC's setup.
