Kepware's software does not use OLE Automation. Instead, both client and server products use custom COM interfaces for OPC and other inter-process communications. Automation interfaces are not used, either. Client applications that utilize the automation wrapper provided by the OPC Foundation may be susceptible to this vulnerability; however, since Kepware products do not utilize this functionality, no extensive tests have been done.
